Building my computer

Recently I proudly built my own rig. Unfortunately due to I was in a damn hurry, i didnt really took many pics. So, this isnt a complete guild to how to build a rig.
Stuff that I needed:
1. motherboard
2. ram
3. hardisk
4. dvd-rom
5. Graphics processing unit aka GPU
6. Power source unit aka psu
7. processor chip
8. casing

Firstly you would have to remove all the stuff from the boxes. Then place the motherboard on a non-static place. We are supposed to install the processor first.
The processor will have many pins behind it,be careful with it and insert it attentively into the chip area on the motherboard. Then, there would be a fan for the processor which comes with it. Thermal paste is already applied to the bottom of the fan, and we would just have to attach it on the motherboard and fix the screws behind the board. Unless in cases of overclocking[OC] there would be no need to get an additional fan.
then its time to insert your PSU into the casing. make sure ur PSU provide sufficient power [watts] and has enough cables to connect to ur
1. cpu fan on motherboard[the one with 4 holes x 2 cords that is together]
2. active motherboard power supply[the biggest one]
3. hardisk[flat type of cord]~p6
4. dvd-rom [flat type of cord]~p6
5. gpu [flat and 4 in a row type] ~p4
6. casing lights [4 in a row type] ~ p4
*not to sure bout the p4 or p6 part.

after the psu, the motherboard goes in and be sure to screw it on its elevating screwlike thin

as above is the power to the cpu fan.

this was how my table was like.

this is how to insert the ram. I simply pushed it into the slots. However, take note that if one ram is in black, the other has to be in black too. If its in orange, the other has to be in the orange too. In other words, paired colours.

this is how it looked like bfore i closed it. note that graphics cards might not be directly connectable to ur PSU, u might need to use power cable converters to change it frm P6 --> P4.

The front usbport switch is connected to the part labeled USB 1.
*note: make sure u connect it well, or if not ur usb devices wont work and will get shortcircuited!

failed an attempt to utilize windows 7600..
and hope to get ori win7 sometime in the future..

.. anyway, i'm glad i could finally build my own desktop. hehe.

I ran across these pics I ss back then while using the beta. this dated back to the launch of the first beta versions of win7, i forgotten when exactly was that. Around Jan 2009 i think.

the new tastbar is alot alot better. it grants us the option of modifying and viewing stuff without clicking and opening the program itself.

basicly windows 7 had been a great experience to me.

after great amount of trouble and time spending on reformatting, and testing ways to install it. I finally succeeded with the expense of ALL my MUSIC which i had compiled for the past 3 years.

*its nt windows's fault,but HP's recovery disk formated my backup partition too =.=

*yes i got blue screen too ^^

my new desktop is on win7 too. but this time its win7 RC 7100. cheers ^^

*VeryCD's EasyMule also has daily updates to music albums is a perfect alternative to direct downloads.
*D-Addicts has most recent TVB drama for example Moonlight Resonance.
*sites in bold letters are those which I personally recommend.

Recently, I went to Barclays English Premier League website and I found this tool that displays RSS feed on your own desktop.. pretty cool huh?
its at the top of the desktop, like how we see highlights hovering at the bottom of the television screen at home..its quite nice to look at imo, so here is the link..as well as the site.. If anyone is interested in checking it out!
